There’s a new venue in town, and it’s pretty darn awesome. Ocean View Farm is exactly that: an avocado orchard with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. Located about 20 minutes south of Santa Barbara, this barn wedding venue is becoming more and more popular and I am so excited to work there again in the near future!
Megan and Matt’s wedding at Ocean View Farm in Carpinteria was my first (!!!) wedding since coming back from my extended maternity leave, and it was a whirlwind! These knew that they didn’t want anything “traditional” so we tried to think outside the box. A farm fresh dinner from Omni Catering, including a flatbread pizza station, and a selection of their favorite beers let their personality shine. I really hope you love this stunning colorful wedding as much as I loved planning it! The gorgeous flowers were created by Dulce Floral Design in Ojai, and everything was captured absolutely beautifully by Kelly from Wild Whim Photography.
It was obvious at the beginning of planning that Megan’s family was incredibly close knit. They spoke of summer evenings at her parents’ beach house with Adirondack chairs lining the deck right off the sand. We made sure to bring in dozens of Adirondack chairs and benches to bring that cozy feel to their guests.
Thanks so much to the incredible creative team of vendors that brought Megan and Matt’s vision to LIFE!
